LiDAR scanning provides an accurate model, followed by photogrammetry to produce a sharp image of the object. These two techniques come together in a hybrid mesh model. This so-called hybrid mesh makes it possible to zoom in far without degrading the quality of the image. This allows cracks, leaks and many more problems to be detected without the need to be on site.
